No it's not. Your body has to convert Flax to EPA/DHA and it's conversion is is small. Fish oil is EPA/DHA. 2) If I'm allergic to Cod fish (other fish is fine), can I still have fish oil? Is the fish oil coming from Cod fish? Fish oil is not made from Cod. It's made from Salmon, sardines, mackarell and a few other nasty little fish. Cod oil is different than Fish oil and cod oil should only be taken during cold months unlike Fish oil which can be used year round 3) Do flax oil and fish oil need to be refrigerated? I'm not home most of the day. Flax oil needs to remain refrigerated at all times, Fish oil does not which makes it so portable. Although, I do keep my bottle of fish oil in the fridge and take out what I need for the day and keep them in a pill box in my purse 4)At the meal that I'm taking ground flaxseed do I still need to take the oil? Depends on how much fat you need for that meal Thanks ![]() |
