Steve Spurrier and NFL

How do you guys think Steve Spurrier will do in the NFL. I personally love Steve. I guess it's because he coached the Duke Blue Devil Football team to an ACC title and bowl bid. Awwww, to be there again. But anyway, you have to say this man is an offensive genius. And hopefully he will get hired on with my lowly Carolina Panthers.

I think you are absolutely right.. He is nothing short of an offensive genius... And will do great in the NFL.. But the Redskins need him more...

Spurrier will play the field. There could be as many as 9 head coaching positions opening up.
Out of Washington and Charlotte, I see him going to Charlotte. There he would get the control his ego would demand. I cant see his and Dan Snyder's inflated heads fitting in the same room.
I personally dont like the guy. I would love to see Mike Martz pull an onside kick on him when the Rams are up 30 in the fourth quarter.

(pssst....BroadStreet....when the 4th quarter starts, the Rams would be up by 40)

I'm with BroadStreet, I don't like him. And I don't think he'll do well as a pro coach. Dealing with the big boys is NOT like dealing with college boys, the pros will get one taste of his stupid little temper tantrums and shove his stupid ass in a garbage can.

Yippiiiiieee we signed him!!

Now hopefully we will be able to do something next season...

You were better off with Shitzenheimer. Doesn't matter, the Eagles have a strangle hold on the division that they're not going to let go for a LONG time.

Yea yea yea... We'll see about that

Good sign.

great collage coach pros a little different sometimes hard to motovate millionaires with big egos

The guy is an idiot if he thinks he can make it work using Florida QBs.

does spurrier think that by singing all of his old florida boys that he is going to build a powerhouse out of the redskins, I THINK NOT.

snyder has crippled the team for years with his outragous contracts to over the hill players that no one wants anymore.

i agree the eagles have done things the right way through the draft and will continue to have a stronghold on the division.

I agree, college coaching and pros a lil different

Spurrier was a good college coach and has a great offensive mind. But time will tell if he's a NFL coach. NFL is much faster than college.

Also Skins will win next year because of defense. They'll have a great defensive coordinator in Marvin Lewis along with great corners and linebackers.
