exactly.

one of the key problems is it can kill you and then you won't be able to train anymore. seriously - hope you quit sooner rather than later. good luck.

ppl say a lot of bad things about smoking but think about what YOU are getting out of it before you give up. yes the physical effects can be bad but what is it giving you mentally? you need to address THAT need before you give up.

shes probably referring to the fact that most smokers whine all the damn time if they dont get their cigarette. and instead of dealing with stress they smoke all the time. hey, i was one of em. for me it was just as f'd up mentally as it was physically. (and by the end i was coughing up tar and blood regularly)

no I mean that ppl smoke not just for physical addiction reasons. you can take the physical addiction away but mentally you still need the prop. if you haven't smoked and given up you won't know what the hell I'm talking about.

hey, what's YOUR addiction? we all have them. they address a need. That's all I'm saying.

I smoked for 23 years (2 packs a day the last 5 years) and don't regret ever quitting. I used a lollipop as a prop.

Kid you want good advice, just quit.

If you don't your breath will smell like the bottom of an ashtray and you will look like you have gold teeth when in fact they are stained yellow from the cigs, you'll have horrible wrinkle lines, It will stunt your growth, give you throat cancer and worst of all it will make your penis fall off.
I'm out

I have quit. I didn't need the lollipop.
nevertheless I'm grieving and every day I'm grieving for the loss. yeah it will get better and stow the violins.
it's just that some people think, lose the physical addiction, you're all set.
for some, that will be true and that is great for you.
(by the way are you aware that you squint? )
for others it's not the end of the story.

Ok forget it ... I'm talking from far far away in my ciggie-less hell.

There is also a chemical in Tobacco (forget the name) which can actually hamper growth esspecially in men by increasing estrogen.

I used to smoke, started at 13 and deciced to quit at 18. Stopped cold turkey, but I used food as my prop. It was convenient at this time, because this was the same time that I started to weight train. It helped to give me more nutrients while I worked out.

I started up a few times here and there between then and now. The last time I was in prety good shape at about 205lbs, and I noticed that i started smoking, had less energy, less motivation to work out, and substatuted smoking for eating in some cases. End result, I lost about 20 to 30 pounds of hard erned weight.

One other thing, try this f you wish to see the negative results right away. Have one then go work out. Then on another day don't smoke before working out. In my days, I would notice a big lack of strength, and energy if I was to smoke prior to my workouts.

(not to mention your wife constantly tells you that you stink, and negs you to stop, which isn't really a bad thing)
Just my thoughts.

Remember that small penis you were talking about in Sexual Health RussianAlex... I think we know why QUIT!

If smoking atleast had ONE plus I wouldn't disagree with it, but the fact that people smoke because it's supposedly cool makes no sense in this day or age when we clearly know it kills you.

I agree, you should smoke weed instead.

Posted by: Gazhole

shouldnt smoke whether you do weights or not really.

all 3 of my parents (dont ask) smoke, and that put me off ever doing it. some things are best left alone.

for once ill go with the majority - quit while you still can!
