Anti-Aromatase

Can someone please explain the rationale behind women taking this?

I was wondering if I should be taking this and I would like to have your intake.

Posted by: ZECH

For what reason?

Posted by: ZECH

One approach to anti-estrogen therapy is to lower the amount of estrogen being produced by the body to block estrogen's ability to "turn on" cancer cells. It is also useful in women for breast cancer.

You have a PM

Some women will use an anti-estrogen when trying to lean out, especially before a competition, to lower bodyfat and water levels. Using a drug like Nolvadex is extremely effective for hardening the lower half, an area that is extremely resistant to normal fat loss procedures in women.

Is taking this good for women with PCO? Polycystic Ovaries?

This supplement was recommended to me.

Maybe i'm mistaken here, but didn't she ask about anti-aromatase? It's been a while, but i'm sure nolvadex is only anti-e.

You are 100% correct, but I thought that maybe SHE was lumping all anti-Es in together by calling them anti-aromatases. If I'm wrong I apologoze BG.

Posted by: ZECH

She never mentioned which ones? With the PCO, someone told her it would help with the aromatization of test. But I doubt many woman have enough test to aromatise??

Posted by: Prince

seeing that I am not an endocrinolgist, does anyone have an answer to the pros and cons of a female using an anti-aromatase, or if they even should?

I know what an anti-aromatase is and what is does, as well as anti-e's, but I personally would not feel qualified to give any advice in the area to a female.

Im 18 and thinking about taking M1T or 1-AD. Is this a good idea? If not what are the best supplements for me to get right now?

I suggest you make a thread, use the "Search" function, and stop hijacking other threads. This is the 3rd one youve hijacked.

I doubt that much aromatization takes place in a normal, healthy female.

Posted by: Prince

so, based on a female's naturally low T levels you're saying that unless they were using a PH/PS/AAS an anti-aromatase would not have much effect?

An anti-E has a lot of effects on a female. Look what nolva does to hormone dependent tumors.

I suggest you take any advice from these boards as entertainment. No one here is qualified to give you sound medical advice.

ditto.

I only have a vauge idea of what nolva will do to a female.

I don't think an anti-aromatase would, but an anti-estrogen is a different story.

BabsieGirl send a PM to bandaidwoman.

Even on the high end for females it should not be enough for a significant amount of aromatization.

Posted by: BabsieGirl

why do you suppose he suggested it? he said most female figure competitors use this.

This is his name:

Aromatase inhibitors are presently being examined and may replace clomiphene in the future.
