I be will using an extreme lowcarb diet for the next two months. I am not going to be taking in enough carbs to make creatine work in the usual fashion, but I was wondering if doubling or trippling the dose might pull a little water into the cells and help me retain some strength.

Any thoughts?

Use creatine ethyl ester. I have been using it in conjunction with a diet with less than 50 g carbs per day and my strength and muscle volume are holding up brilliantly.

I think you would be fine with just plain creatine. You could also go GP's route, but I think regular creatine would suffice.

I only mention CEE b/c I truly feel it is far more absorbable than monohydrate and causes far less stomach distresss.

I don't know about absorbable, but I will have to agree with you on the stomach distress, anything is better than mono if not taken with anything else, that shit tears me in 2. BTW, just took my first Redline RTD and it is most definitely more potent than it's predecessor, I will be stocking up next week.
