this is a common site for inguinal hernias....certainly worth checking out especially if you know when it happened.
Like if you never noticed it before....did heavy deadlifts or squats on tuesday...then noticed it for the first time on wed....chances are good you have a herniation....get it fixed so you can get back to training!
i had one....had it fixed....never a problem again!
