She looks directly at me to see my response and just smiles really pretty and kind of nods her head like "why not?". So I am just trying to act cool and play along with it (with no intention of doing anything) and say 'I'll think about it and get back with you'. She is like egging me on and saying 'come on, don't be nervous, it's really OK, and we both want this and we think it would be pretty cool'. I explain (laughing to break the tension) I am not so certain I can "perform" with another guy there and she says 'don't worry, we will work at it in private and then over and over until we have it down and don't have any hangups about this'. I am like running out of polite ways to signal "no" or socially escape and then she invites me to come to their daughter's soccer match and to be a friend of the family and stay for dinner Saturday night. It's like REAL and they are SERIOUS and I am all out of my best one liner humorous comebacks and coolness is like seriously under siege. At this point my internal "drinking too much" self-alarm is kicking in too telling me to stop and go home before I get too buzzed and get in serious trouble here (since I caught myself starting to think about it). So I finally just pretended like my cell phone rang on vibrate mode, invented a phone conversation then excused myself and said I had to run. As I was leaving I told them to PM me later in the week because I had other things planned for the weekend (which I really did).

So I ended up having to compose a long message and explain that I was flattered but that I did not think I could follow through on the offer due to nervousness and was super careful to flatter his wife (which was not too hard because she really was sweet and pretty) . I got a "we are disappointed that it did not work out" message back but they still stop in my bar hangout from time to time on Friday afternoons and make eye contact and nod or chat it up and tell me about what they are up to and to invite me to stop by anytime.

Closest I ever came to a 3-some - unless you count all those car back-seat "things" in senior year of High School where 1 or 2 women where with the whole car load of guys (2-3) and we drank beer/wine and various things happened that none of us would ever admit in adult life ever happened.
