Ok.. I dont want to be a hypochondriac but.. I am prone to getting *out of it* or spacey, where I can't really focus my eyes or my thoughts sometimes. I used to blame undereating, but I make sure to eat plenty now (carbs too) so I dont know what causes it. I was just sitting at my computer, feeling fine except for a slight headache. All of a sudden I was just out, it is so hard to explain, but my vision blurred, my ears had this weird white noise type sound going on and I couldn't hear well, my head tipped back and I then put it on the desk, and I thought I was going to throw up. I tried to get up for water, took two tries, stumbled into the kitchen trembling. Broke into a sweat had to take off my sweatshirt. I seem to be ok now, only a bit of trembling, but I was just wondering if anybody knows wtf that was, cuz it really scared me.

I dont know greeky.. are you eating enough sodium with your food? it could be you need more carbs

Was that the same feeling when you are lying down and you stand up too fast?
First I thought it was ADD but it seems to be something else.

Vieope, I guess you kind of can compare it to that, but it lasted for a bit longer, and I didn't really feel "right" until a couple hours later. After the hot flash passed I was absolutely freezing, and I noticed I had an irregular heartbeat that was one strong beat followed by two weak ones.

I actually suspect if may have been a bad fear response to a certain topic I was discussing with a friend. Am I off my rocker?

called tinitus which is relationship to either bacteria overgrowth and also lack of cirulation, mineral/vitamin deficiency. I had it as well along time ago when I was very acidic and when I had candida. I have gotten rid of the candida and no I have to get rid of pathogenic bacteria in my gut from over a year ago from drs not following up. I had several nurses freinds of mine as well as chinese accupuncturist telling me it was an intesinal infection. I cut my protein and went back to eating fruits and veggies in order o give my digesion a rest to clear out the build up of dybiosis causing mineral/nutruent malabsorption. If you are lacking certain nutrients aka b vitamins you will have major neurological, hormonal roblems becuase they are needed. Also if under stress internal and external it robs you of a,c,e, b vitamins, minerals and eventuially upset balance of good vs bad bacteria in gut which is cause of 70-80% of intestinal problems leading to malabsorption and to majority of all health problems. Human body is like on big chemistry set, if you are missing on piece of the equation it can through ever thing off. For example. you can have all the neccessary minerals and nutrients in the blood for thyroid to work, but if you are lacking vitamin A your thyroid will not work properly. And people with low thyroid can not convert betacarotine to A and end up with deficency. Nxt step drs stick you on thyroid medicine with out looking into nutrition first. From now on only going to dr for strucural problems and to use a tool for cking other wise I will look for deficencies and start from there.

Get your insulin levels checked out GBC. Most home test kits are pretty cheap now ... good luck! Keep us posted.

hypoglycemia can cause headache, blurred vision, sudden decrease in hearing, sweatiness and nauseau ( all of which you had) and the surge of adrenaline that corrects it can cause fast heartbeat or premature ventricular contractions during the recovery phase as you described. look at your diet and make sure you aren't scrimping on carbs and or missing or skipping meals

all her symptoms reflected also adrenal insufficency and not referring to addisons disease which again may be the cause. She needs to get an organic acids test done to confirm everything.

I get that sometimes when I'm really tired or was out all night dancing (lack of sleep), or dehydrated.
Just make sure you get enough sleep, food, and water.

like bandaidwoman said...hypoglycemia seems like the most likely suspect with an anxiety reaction following a very close second.

transient episodes like this are usually not a big deal as long as they dont happen very often.

If they do happen often i would look into your eating frequency and amount and type of carbs, consider any medications you may be taking, and have anxiety disorders evaluated.

I'm 90% sure that one of these is the cause of your problem so check it out and please post back so we can see how you are doing ok.

hardasnails....not everything is related to your pH and candida levels....while this may be your condition and some people's symptoms may sound similar to yours...it does not mean they have the same condition.

take headaches as a poor example:

you may have a headache from candida (since you seem to think everything is related to yeast), i may get one from high blood pressure, another from a neck strain, another from getting hit in the head with a baseball, another from caffeine withdrawal.

i'm not going to go into a long explnation on how REAL doctors and eduacated people (like bandaidwoman) come to an actual list of differential diagnosis...but i assure you it isnt based on your logic.

i guess this post is more for everyone else than for you....just be weary of his advice please (as well as everyone else's including mine...it is impossible to be very accurate diagnosisng without a real examination...but we try to give helpful advice)...but his advice especially seems pretty lame most of the time.

I've suspected hypoglycemia because I am prone to getting dizzy and out-of-focus often, especially if I wait too long to eat, but for the most part I get plenty of carbs (usually complex) and I eat every 3 or so hours.

I have been diagnosed with "generalized anxiety disorder" also. Basically I stress out too much.

I also wanted to note I have some symptoms of PCOS, which I know is linked to insulin resistance and diabetes.

Other things that help hypoglycemia besides frequent meals and complex carbs which you are doing include incorporating more fiber , decrease caffeine intake (makes reactive hypoglycemia worse due to its activation of adrenaline) and low fat foods. And if you are overweight, (which you don't look to be) , losing some weight. Just do a google search for hypoglycemia diet. If all fails, it might not hurt to get checked for PCOS if you or your doc suspects that since this disorder will cause such reactions due to it's high insulin state (from the insulin resistance) as you surmised.
