Hi Everyone

This is what I do and it works GREAT for my diet and cutting if you have a problem sticking to your diet because you just can't seem to stay away from your favorite fattening, sugary foods.
Eat very healthy with the proper ratios for about 1 to 2 weeks (give or take a little), then what I do is one or two meals (every two weeks or so) I will eat as much as I possible can of all my favorite foods - fattening, sugary, processed, everything imaginable I will eat, just make sure it is only one or two meals.
This does a number of things for me and it may do the same for you:
1. Takes away my cravings physically (temporarily) and psychologically until my next free day
2. Tells my body I am not starving
3. Speeds my motabolism from starvation mode
4. Tells me how terrible I used to feel when I ate this way everyday before I started my transition
5. Helps me to reach my goals without backsliding or screwing up

My diet consists of very low calories (which 90% of the people on here will not agree with but it works for me). I eat between 1200 and 1700 calories everyday (I am a male). After 1 to 2 weeks, I will have this free day and man is it refreshing! I am actually losing pure fat faster then I ever have on any other program including the BFL program. I am not losing muscle because I make sure I eat plenty of lean and healthy protein and lift weights, along with cardio exercises.

I have finally found a diet that actually works. maybe it will work for you to. I can't get myself to eat very many calories in a day because i am never that hungry, so I had to figure out a solution, and the "major free day" solution was my answer to low calorie dieting. It is somewhat similar to the zig zag method in the fact that we trick our body and metabolism by eating a lot in a certain time frame so as to prevent a catabolic or starvation state. It has worked fabulously for me!

Also read "A Flat Stomach ASAP" by Ellington Darden. He puts his clients and readers on very low calorie diets with awesome results. It is not a maintenance plan, but a boost until you meet your goals. I am not on this plan, but my calorie count is somewhat similar.

Let me know if any of you are doing the same type of thing and whether it has worked for you or not. Thanks!
