Hi, I am about to get on a bulking diet to gain weight and I was wondering if there are any good substitutes for eggs... As weird as it sounds I hate them and gag every time I eat them- If anyone knows a good substitute for eggs I would really appreciate it- I eat a lot of oats I was just looking for another good protien source

Sry for not specifying this; but I was talking about breakfast foods- I eat all the mentioned above foods at different times of the day, I just don't have a good replacement for eggs in the morning

I've eaten these for breakfast upon occasion. Of course, it depends on how much you can stomach in the morning.

Thanks for the replies... I think i'm going to have to tuff it out with the eggs b/c cottage cheese is even worse to me than eggs.. I am just a lightweight eater- hopefully I'll be able to make up for my lack of breakfast by adding to my other four meals during the day

what's with the idea of breakfast foods, i eat pancakes for dinner, and spaghetti for breakast, food is food, heck cold leftovers(mmm thanksgiving, two more days) are the best breakfast food there is. Why are you unable to eat some chicken for breakfast?

I have slow mornings and don't have the time to eat or cook chicken... Plus i'll get the runs if I do eat it =\ As for pancakes for dinner and spageti for breakfast- you disgust me

MP fit too much info, maybe your stomach just isn't up to it first thing in the mornin, if you're on a bulk maybe try a protein powder/ weight gainer with the oats, you may have to stomach eggs on a cut tho .

Try turkey breakfast sausages. They aren't as fatty and greasy like the normal beef/pork ones, and they fill you up.

Another thing which I used to do in the past is a little different but it actually tastes pretty good. Takes only a few min if you have a microwave. Get up, grab a microwavable bowl. Put about two tablespoons of peanut butter in there. Toss in the microwave and nuke it for about 1 min on high...or at least until the peanut butter is really soft and almost stirable. (not runny) Grab some yogurt. Put about a tablespoon or two on top of the peanut butter and mix them together. Now, grab 1/2 a banana and slice it up into there. You got proteins, good fats, dairy, potassium. Yum yum.

Other than that, the only thing I can suggest is blending up some fruits/berries and milk, etc.

I wouldn't say that was polite.

I eat breakfast food for dinner all the time and steak and chicken for breakfast. You need to cook ahead so it's ready to go.
