Exercise for forearms?

I've been thinking lately, and I noticed I don't have anything for forearms..
The reason i'm requesting is, I hate how some people have huge biceps, but tiny wrists and forearms.. It just doesn't look right.

What I have : dumbells

If you suggest an exercise could you provide pics? I'm pretty new at BBing and haven't got down all the exercises yet.

3 things you can do, bro

1. direct forearm work w/db's and bb's(check my sig for exercises..."how to train")
2. indirect work from shrugs/deads/pullups which strengthen your grip and better your forearms.
3. and people may laugh at this, but it works. the black "gripper" things. i have it in my car and do it whenever i'm driving. IMO forearms grow best by high reps, and these things you do tons of "reps". i swear by them.

good luck,
FLEX

Static holds are my favorite. Just hold a barbell, or dumbbells, until you can't hold it any more.

However, for some reason, direct forearm work never did all that much for me. Even since I started doing the Westside powerlifting routine my grip has simply gone through the roof.

overhand barbell curls, and hammer curls, to an extent, will work the forearms. for shrugs, deadlifts, etc, leave the straps at home

Got mine in the car too. Keeps me from going postal, and works forearms. double whammy, so if you see a guy in your mirror red faced and waving a black thingy at you its just me working out on the way to work

I find that working both arms when beatin' "it" is good for forearm development. You may want to look into alternative methods though, like reverse grip, instead of using the hammer grip everytime.

Make sure to alternate each set...

Seriously though a great forearm workout is to superset dumbbell hammer curls and barbell wrist curls. Dumbbell wrist curls are great but I prefer barbell wrist curls for this superset. Do 3-4 running sets without any rest between exercises or sets. If your forearms aren't so full of blood and achin like mad you need to go play John Madden 2005...
