alright when i first statred lifting i was only able to bench 135 lbs 6 times, 4 months later i'am now able to do 175 lbs 5 times, but every time i added weight i put enough so that i could only do 4 or 5 reps and did about 7 or 8 sets of just flat bench every night or other night(keep in mind that this before i really checked this site). what i wanna know is that if i keep this routine will i eventually reach a limit,
just recently i've been doing this
4 sets of flat bench to failure, about 4 or 5 times
4 sets of incline(dont the angle but it looks more than 45 degrees)to failure, about 6 times
and i gonna add chest flies as soon as i get some more weight
i do this every other night
i've been reading about routines that only work out chest once a week, seeing how i only have a bench and dumbbells thats all i really do
any advise or tweaking would be apprieciated

first things first if you are doing to many sets then you will prob start overtraining...
if you do this every night or every second night is too much your body needs time to recover...
trst me id know i did the same thing that you are doing then i came on this site and found the routines....since then i have been having a weeks rest between body parts and i can see alot better results
anyway....
also start doing dips if there is anything available to you they work nicely
do you push your self to the fullest on your reps??? or do you only do light wieghts???

yes i do push myself every set and do heavy weights. should i increase the reps and lower the sets, and if im just doing upper body for now should i rest a full week?

no no keep the wieghts high and the reps low...
yes rest for at least five days...
and DO lower body if you want a big upper body do lower body workouts squats leg extentions etc.
do you have access to a gym??
if so join up with them if you must if not do alot of biking!!
