Creatine while on a cycle?

Pointless?

I'm beginning to think it is. It seems to me that since oral 'roids are hard enough on your liver and kidneys, creatine is just added unnecessary strain on them. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Hell, maybe creatine doesn't even put stress on your liver and kidneys. My current training partner tells me it does, so I figured I'd play it safe and stop taking it since the orals are rough enough as it is.

there is absolutely no proof that creatine supplementation causes added stress on healthy organs...

I took off from Creatine during my M1T cycle. I did it not for the organ stress issues, but more for the fact that I want to use it to keep strength gains from the M1T during PCT.

Creatine breaks down to creatinine fooling people into thinking the kidneys are under strain. I dont recall anyone showing a true link to strain.

Drink your water and you should be fine, take cranberry extract if you like.

Awesome, thanks for putting my mind at ease, guys. Since I just got over a kidney infection I figured I'd play things extra safe.

Well, I took a trip to GNC today and the girl who works there is amazingly smart and really knows her health and fitness. I asked her if creatine puts stress on your kidneys and she told me that it's known to do it. She even grabbed a reference book she had behind the counter and showed me an article on creatine and how it can possibly cause kidney issues. Very interesting! I think I'll watch my creatine intake while on a cycle for sure.

On a side note, she also sold me some milk thistle for my liver.

Was she cute?

big difference between an article and a medical study. no medical study to date has proven creatine supplementation to cause increased strain or strees on a healthy kidney...

there are tons of articles written about creatine that have no scientific study behind them...

True.

She told me right now medical studies are underway to once and for all prove whether or not creatine can be harmful to your kidneys. It'll be interesting to see the results of those studies.

I'm not worried about my Kidneys. I am thinking of using creatine for the first month of my cycle, but I don't know if that will worsen my bloating or make pumps too severe while on D-bol and Sus 250. I respond very well to creatine, and it helps me have plenty of ATP for long intense workouts. Will it be counter-productive in any way?

I couldn't see how. the increased celluar hydration in your skeletal muscle will make for an even better anabolic environment while on cycle...

I'll give it a shot then. Thanks.

yeh my weight gainer has a gram (per serving)of creatine in it.... didint realize it until 3 bottles were gone. i know my lower back is killing me... probably just pumps but dunno.

After about 18 days of creatine on cycle, I can't hack it. The pumps are so intense that I am forming new strech marks on my arms and can't even finish my workouts sometimes. The pump in my lower back is such that I can't do deadlifts and I have to lie down between sets of squats. An hour after leaving the gym, my back is completely pain free; No pain or injury. This has progressively gotten worse, so I am going to cut the creatine out and see if this problem improves. I bet others wish creatine worked so well for them. I'll update in a week.

hahaha

Did I say somthing funny?

After cutting the creatine my pumps are manageable, and the back pain is completely gone. I'm glad I figured out what was going wrong. I could hardly walk from one station to the next due to horrible lower back pain. I didn't have this problem with creatine off cycle.

Stretch marks can result from lack of proper hydration, how much water are you drinking?

Funny that somebody else is having back issues as well.

For some reason my back gets so sore now when lifting that I can barely even make it through a routine. After I do a few sets of squats I can barely stand up, and that's never happened to me before. I've been laying off the back exercises in hopes that my lower back will fix itself so I can get back to my normal routine. I usually do four or five different exercises for my legs, but lately I can only do two before having to call it a day thanks to my damn lower back.
