Are the balance bars a good balanced snack or a glorified candy bar? I need some snacks, b/c i'm in college and the dining hall closes at 8 pm.

I eat just about everything in moderation. I'm not a fan of fat-free, low-fat, sugar-free foods, etc. I just eat very little of the good stuff...

Eat them when you crave them

I used to buy those by the box; I used to swim six hours a day and burned so many calories I'd hop out in between sets and eat one. They digested well and did the trick.

I prefer Balance Bars to Powerbars on my mountain bike rides. I like the 15g protein they have. I love the peanut butter Balance Bars, but they can be tough to find.
