Yesterday I did a back and Bi day. I did wide grip pullups, lat pull down, and bent over rows. Not very much lower back work right? So would it be working to many of the same muscles today, the day after back day, by doing deads?

Nevermind I have now decided this would be a bad idea, and may even get ugly if attempted.

yeah why not just deads the same day?

Yea I was going to...Is there a name for when you put the olympic bar in a corner and use the triangle hand grip to do, well kinda like rows...I dont know if that is clear at all, I saw Arnold doing it in his "docudrama" and have been hooked on doing them since. Its a huge lift if you ask me. I can feel it all the way through my legs...I was pretty much blasted after doing those and couldnt fathem doing deads.

hmm i cant visualize those. Was it on 'Pumping Iron' ? i wanna see this exercise.

Yea alright you know the triangle grip im talking about? Its like a V shape. Yout put the bar into the corner at like a 45 degree angle. Put some plates on so the bar is sitting up. Hook the V on to the bar obviously with the pointed side down so you have two grips facing up. Its a real close grip back row. You get like a whole body workout almost its pretty big. I did it real heavy yesterday and I dont remeber the last time my biceps had this much sensation in them.

hmm i think i know what ur talking about. Similar to this right? http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/...ntOverRow.html

Yea definelty what I was describing. That dude has a machine though. The way I was talking about is like ghettofied lol. My gym is pretty old school.

Isn't that very similar to a T-bar row? I do those with free weights and it is quite a good exercise.

He is talking about the old fashioned way. Before they had the T bar machine or anything like that they would form their own by putting the oly bar in the corner...load the plates on and lift it. Prettty damn smart if ya ask me!
