I'm sooooooooooooo computer stupid when it comes to this stuff. Never did get my email set up to work with Outlook either. LOL But that will be taken care of soon too.

I think it looks real good so far. Easy to find the links at the top. Will you be able to click on the suit to enlarge the pic? That was the only thing I could think of. It looks nice though.

For doing it yourself, it looks great! If your going to try and have it show on the search engines, it is not so great. The code sitebuilder produces is horrible and will not validate. Some people say that it is not important but I've got several sites in areas that are competing at over $12.00 per click for the word and they show up #1 in the free search against some very big players. All things equal, the difference are my sites validate which makes it easier for the spiders to follow and index. If your going to make a go of it, you should invest in a WYSWIG editor such as Dreamweaver. It is very easy to use and the newest version produces code that validates across browsers. If anyone in your house is going to school, you can get an Academic version of Dreamweaver for less that $100.00. The only way you will get traffic to it now is either by word of mouth, advertising or do the pay per click thing which can get expensive. Again, for doing it yourself you have done a great job!!!! I guess I'm more harsh than others since I build and optimize sites for a living and have done so for the last 5 years, but you asked for an honest opinion so you got it. Good luck!!! |

word of mouth is good for now, since I am just beginning and not wanting to get overload all at once. Its just me sew the suits with a fulltime job and competiting as well. Is Dreamweaver like Frontpage 2000? If this thing gets too out of control...PM me what you would charge to set it up and do upkeep. |

when it comes to this stuff.

I just used the templates that the hosting service provided, haven't done much other than throw it together. I'm not wanting a site with lots of scrolling and flashing, I think it takes forever to load that way. I like the simple things when it comes to a website. If your not busy this week I'll try to give you a call (I know Christmas is a crazy time). I'll get your card from Craig. ![]() PS...Nice to see your not lurking anymore, you should post more often. ![]() |
