I started lifting weights last week, im 5'10 220lbs. Im working every muscle once a week, to give it a full and nice recovery. Here is my routine:
Monday : Chest + Triceps + 6 sets of 3 different abs exercises
Tuesday : Shoulders + Biceps + 6 sets of 3 different abs exercises
Wednesday : Back + Traps + 6 sets of 3 different abs exercises
Thursday : Legs + 6 sets of 3 different abs exercises
Im maintaining a healthy diet, oatmeal, low carbs, brown rice, veggies, protein shakes after working out, and yeah LOTS of proteins, also white meats ( salmon, salmon, salmon and chicken, oven baked). I eat 4 times a day, I have my last meal 1 hour before my workout, then after it i have a protein shake.
How long before I see a difference in my body? Mass, definition,Im bulking right now, no cutting yet.

Everyone is diffrent but I would say 3-4 months and you will notice a diffrence.I know I did.

You are bulking but you want to see definition? Thats not really the way it works, definition comes from cutting.

How much weight are you gaining per week? I can see even a few pounds, which is just 2 weeks or so.

Why are you doing ab work every workout? They grow in the same way other muscles do, they don't require you to overtrain them to the point of atrophy.

Im doing ab work because there is a lil belly on me which i wanna get rid of, i dont wanna start cutting yet, i wanna gain mass, then cut, but what i meant by definition was if after a few months i would be able to see my chest and arms getting some definition, some form. Going back to the belly problem. with the right diet, Am i doing the right thing by doing abs everyday? I heard that the muscle would get bigger therefore if you dont do cardio ur stomach would look bigger. Is that true?

If your'e bulking you won't see more definition but you will certainly look bigger and fuller. Definition is gained by lower body fat which only comes from a calorie deficit over time (cutting).

You cannot spot reduce. The only way to lose fat on your stomach is to lose overall bodyfat. You can do all the crunches you want, but it isn't going to do a damned thing if you have a layer of fat covering your rectus abdominus.

Do weighted ab work, and you won't need to work your abs more than twice a week.

Also, I would insert a rest day in the middle of that routine.
