1/2 cup flaxseeds - finely ground
1 and 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 and 1/2 cups ground rolled oats
1/2 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup whey
2 tablespoons measurable sweetner
5 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
To Make Mix:
In large bowl, whisk together whole wheat flour, ground oats, wheat germ, whey, sweetner, baking powder, salt, and ground flaxseeds. Refrigerate until ready to use.
To Make Pancakes With Mix:
(for 8 pancakes)
Needed extra ingredients:
2 eggs
3/4 cup water
2 T. SF Maple Syrup
Place 1 and 1/4 cups pancake mix in a large bowl. Make a hole in the center of the mix and stir in 1 egg yolk, SF Maple syrup, and 3/4 cup cold water.
Beat 2 egg whites until stiff peaks form, and fold the beaten egg whites into the batter.
