Finally a shortstop was signed. Eckstein from Anehiem. Also takes care of our lead off hitter. Still wish we had Renteria, but hey, I won't complain!!!

Good pickup for the Cards. David Eckstein is a good player. Between him and Mark Mulder, the Cards have made some good moves to offset the loss of Renteria.
