Welcome. There is a lot of cool people in here and we can all help you. But my question is are you sure you ever had nice showing abs?? because unless you are really skinny you wouldt have abs without a good diey. Diet is key, we dont know how long its gona take you to see results becasue we dont know your stats, eating "clean" foods will make your abs show not a 6 week training routine...!! good luck to you man and stay with us, you will learn a lot.......

Abs are made in the kitchen. Low fat = muscular definition.

You can build ab muscles through a variety of exercises, especially weighted lifts. But again, abs are a function of diet.

Ab muscle + low bodyfat = visible abs.

I think he got the point by now. LOL.

Although you aren't going to has visible ab muscles without low body fat, increasing the muscle mass of your rectus abdominus and obliques will certainly help make these muscles visible at slightly higher body fat percentages.

Don't waste your time with fad machines or lots of crunches. Do heavy compound lifts that require your ab muscles as a stabilizer, and do weighted ab work. I've been doing situps and captain's chairs.

You are right, I can sometimes see my upper abs in the 13-14% range (in the mornings) I was always told not to do weighted abs work but I never listened and I was right!! LOL. The way I do mine (and everyone is different) is I do one week weighted ab work and one week without weights, first one is for mass and second for shape, just like when bulking and cutting.......

The only problem is that training has no bearing on the shape of your muscle...

Posted by: adamf4i

so you have like a deal i could do since you say you have gotten results just like routine for abs with weight and abs without weight

Posted by: QuestionGuy

dude, I would not worry about abs right now, I would go on a bulk for a couple of months, lift very heavy and eat clean but a lot of food, get some size, then start a clean cut, Clean food 5-7 meals a day is going to get you abs not anything else you do. Just go to the gym watch the other guys do ab workouts and youll be fit, thhat is how I learned long time ago...Abs are easy to workout, but the hard part is diet, that is going to bring out your abs NOTHING ELSE !

k sounds cool but what is the diet i dont understand what kind of food to eat i eat all the time seriously

i have very high metabolism though

Posted by: adamf4i

i heard you should try to consume 1 gram of protein per pound you weigh and double for carbs

so like for me it would be 300 carbs and 150 protein grams sound right to yout guys

Posted by: QuestionGuy

Do some research before, it would take us 2 years to type everything you need to know, since you weigh so little you should try to get 300 grams of protein (lean protein form lean meats and protein shakes) in a day not 150, you could easily get 300 grams of protein a day, maybe half of that protein could even come from protein shakes....

Posted by: adamf4i

are you serious thats alot of protein lol

Posted by: QuestionGuy

I am serious, you might get a little bloated and gassy tho, (natural) but you will see a difference protein build muscle. You don't build muscle at the gym, you build it at home, and protein makes it. I just wrote a 9 page essay for my eng. final this semester on " the process of bodybuilding" maybe i should post it for you, it would make sence to a newbie...
