What to eat, what to eat ???????

As part of my new job I am contracted to work 7 nights every three weeks ( one week of nights every three weeks) as I have never worked nights before and your stomach slowly down over night, what are the best things to eat, I am at a complete loss as to what to pack in my lunch box.

Any ideas you would appreciated guys

I intend to get home at 6.10am have breakfast as usually and then train at half seven until half eight, each again, then have a protein shake and hit the hay at 12pm, waking up at 8pm

My emergency meal is a jar of peanut bitter and a box of Fiber One cereal (mix em up). You get oils, fat, carbs, protein, and fiber. Works for me cutting or bulking.

Thanks Seabee, it's not exactly an emergency meal, it's more some meal ideas for me when I am working over night is all, that way I can keep my metabolism going, and stop me from going into a catabolic state.

Just have food...some proteins and fats. I don't know what your current meal plan and macro's consists of so I cant suggest to much for ya but if you need more meals some meat and veggies always work for me at night if I'm up...it happens alot with the fire dept.

Umm if you want give us your current diet and current schedual then give us your schedual for the week you work nights. Make it into a bullet form so to speak.
ex:
*Meal 1(8am)
*Go to work
*Meal 2
*Meal 3
etc etc etc

good luck!.

I do nights one week a month and most times go home straight to bed (at about 8am) with my last meal having been about 7am mostly protein/fats. Then I get up later in the day, have breaky (biggest carb meal of the day) and workout an hour or so later.

As far as eating at night, what DeadBolt said. Eat every 3 hours or so like normal but you may want to reduce the carbs a bit, depends on what sort of work you do and how active you are going to be.

My jaw seized just thinking about that. I ate fiber one with no liquid this morning on my way to work, after I had my AM protein ... it was rough ...

Have never been on a cut cus I am soo skinny but here is my 'mass plan'

5.30am: 2 scoops N Large 2 (with water) bowl of cereal with milk, yoghurt and honey

8.30am: Chicken breast with basmati rice & mixed veg

12.30pm: Ham and cheese Sandwich with glass of milk

3.30pm: Same as 12.30pm

5.30pm:Family meal ( Usually lean meat with potatoes and veggies)

9.00pm, cottage cheese with salad vegetables and glass of milk.

Coffee, de caffienated soda, water, fruit juice all day long I try and get 3 ltrs of water in a day if I can
