Birth control pills show positive effect on bone density, ( http://my.webmd.com/content/article/...0Top%20Stories ) It is the depo-provera shot that can causes problems with bone density.

There are alot of new studies showing that birth control can cause bone density issues. I vow never to use them again.

The first week after insertion I did not feel like having intercourse since it was sore but after a week it was fine.
