Hello. I'm new to this and could use advice. I own a gym with a bench press, etc. I also have a treadmill. I noticed after I increased the amount I was lifting my physique and muscle mass seemed to have shrunk--is this possible?

i wouldn't think so unless you diet is not a proper one. maybe you are losing fat and think its muscle.

There's alot of variables there,how long have you been lifting,how much cardio do you do,what other kind's of lift's do you do,you need to be a little more speciffic.
