Sleep/missing school

I had a mocha earlier today (I have managed to stay away from them) but I treat myself to one maybe every 3 weeks or so. I had that at about 7:30 pm and it's now 3:30 AM and I can't sleep.... I guess since I've change my diet and stayed away from them it's kind of a shock to my body, when I had a bad diet and had them regularly, they only lasted like 3-4 hours.

Anyway, I have to get up (if I fall asleep that is) for school at 6:30 AM. I'm only taking 2 classes that I might be missing something in, and either of them I can get notes from a friend on what I missed if I need to. So, my question is, should I just stay home and get some sleep or just go anyway?

Maybe some of it is mental; if you are set on the thought that you can't sleep, then you will have a hard time falling asleep.

I am guessing you are in college. I suggest that you go to all of your classes, no matter how tired you are.

What kind of question is this?? Be responsible, go to class.

sleeping all day will fuck up your sleep schedule, go to class. you can't make up for lost sleep.

this is a quote i heard while in college it goes something like this "you can always retake the class, you can never retake the party." but anyhow don't miss class.

Yeah, I did, but I'm also a senior in HS, not in college. I can easily make up anything I missed tomarrow . I woke up at noon today....

Pretty much, I told them I need sleep and it was fine... Grades and discipline really aren't an issue with me. It's also my last semester of HS and I only need 2 courses to graduate.

meh I used to do that a lot in highschool, as long as you get the notes you'll be fine. I wouldn't try pulling that off in university/college (even tho I've already done it a couple times myself boo)

Shouldn't be saying this but I did it lots when I went to University, though rarely at school. Math lectures at Uni put me to sleep every time, so after about 6 I never went to another one. Grabbed the textbook with the course outline 2 weeks b4 the exam and studied hard and passed. Not realy proud of that it's just that I can only concentrate well on that sort of stuff in my own time.

Waaaa, High school and worrying about missing sleep, man if i only had that problem. I am sure that many can relate and agree that it does not get any easier as you get older.
All I can say is finish college when you are young. I am almost 28 and back in school because I dicked off and dropped out after 2 years. Juggling the gym, work, school, a house, a wife, a dog, sleep and a good diet sucks. Not to mention we are trying to have kids. Can't wait to throw them in the mix.

haha your life sounds like mine, except I'm 32 and did finish my studies when I should have (but still had a good time). I'm also juggling crappy neighbours and a wife and sister who a lot.
