I can't believe I'm asking this...

OK, this may be redundant BUT it is a serious question....



I've got a friend who is grossly overweight. He is starting an exercise program and was asking me if it is safe for him to take Creatine with his Thyroid problem. You see, he suffers from Hyperthyroidism.



Now, I am not aware of any issues with Creatine and Hyperthyroidism but then I'm no expert in this matter and have had no experiences in this realm. Does anyone know if he can safely take Creatine Sups with this thyroid problem?

I would say yes, but I wouldn't say that without him first consulting his doctor.

He should work on a fitness base first anyway, then hit up creatine. For a beginner, I would not have them use creatine for cutting anyway, the increase in weight could frustrate them.

WOW! Had no idea this simple little question would cause such a "tremmor" in the force.

Thanks Dale. I did tell him to go seek a Doctor's advice and he agrees. I don't think he is planning on taking any supplements right away. I think he was just planning ahead and thinking out loud when he asked me.

QuestionGuy.... uh.... yea. nuff said.

Sticky, thanks for the defense but it's all good. I just consider the source when reading off-colored comments like that.
