Has anyone heard of the doing opposite exercise right before the focused exercise for that day? I.E. today is chest day right before bb bench I’ll do some close grip cable rows. I think I read somewhere this is supposed to help with the poundage. I'm not sure just wanted to get you guy's insight.

I used to do back and then chest on the same day.I made some pretty good gains, although you get pretty exhausted.

One thing i def do notice though is when doing chest, it's MUCH easier to do if your back is all pumped up, it's almost as if you're on a cushion (which is why i do back day the day before chest) That's also why before every wo i do a few exercizes of each muscle group to get a little pump going

its not supersets, its just getting some heavy reps in before your focused muscle group.

It's antagonist training. Bi's with Tri's. Chest with Back. Quads with Hammies. Just another method of training.

you might do:

barbell row - rest - bench press
repeat
Pull ups - rest - dips
repeat
