Are these worth getting? Here's the link to the ones I'm looking at: http://bodytronics.com/shop/index.cg...body+fat+scale
Are they actually accurate? If they are then I might as well get one.

I've wondered that myself, I've always kind of prejudged them as BS though...

Typically not very accurate.

I'm guessing they use the same method as the handheld type indicators, which have a reputation for not being the most accurate, but it's still better than nothing.

Get a caliper and tape.
ROB - didnt we used to have a sposor that had a bf computer program? Came with tape and calipers? It looked pretty good.

I'm not really familiar with calipers, what exactly are they and how do they work? I get the impression they're one time use?
And by tape you mean measuring tape? I already have that if so.

The BF% scales are only worthwhile if you use them at the same time everyday and at the same hydration level--and also aren't below 10%BF. They will allow you to get a rough but semi-accurate estimate of your BF level, which is useful. I have one, and it's useful when dieting. I've never gone below 10% though.
