at school there is nothing really to eat so i get a spicy chicken sandwich and a cup of fruit (peaches or pineapples) i eat the chic sandwish open faced, oh yeah and i get a carton of white milk (5g fat, 12g carbs, 8g protein), is this pretty good of a meal?? i would pack my own lunch but uhhh my mom thinks the idea of eating like 2000+ cals and every 3 hrs is CRAZY and thinks i wont lose weight that way (even tho i did over the summer), so yeah we never have anything good to take unless i buy it myself (which i'm trying to buy my own food now, but it's kinda hard since i've got a trip coming up that i have to pay for) but anyways back to my lunch.

I also have another question, whats a small item i could take to school to eat at like 9:20?? i never eat anything at 9:20 because well there is nothin i can think of to take. help me, i would prefer it to be something i can eat cold and it still taste great...any ideas?

taking in a SMALL meal every three hours is better than eating three large ones because all the nutrients get used over time, unlike eating a bunch at once because not everything can get digested so a lot of the food stores as fat. So try the meal once every three hours. Something good to eat around 9:20, there are a bunch of things to choose from , but if you want something cold try a cup of cottage cheese and a turkey sandwich (no mayo, try mustard) the protein in cottage cheese isn't like whey (which absorbs every three hours) so it will stay in your system while you are at school so you can replenish your nutrients when u get home. Try to get as lean of turkey as u can (98% fat free for example) on wheat bread will give u 200 cals, 26g carbs, 19g protein, and 3g fat.

Hey Prem...is the chicken fried? baked? fresh or processed? are you eating the bun?

Stay away from pinapple...tons of sugar. Go for berries, apples, or pear. Those are better options for fruit.

Its hard to comment on the meals b/c we don't know anything about them or your goals. Are you still trying to lose weight? What are the macro's for the meals? What is your cal range per meal? What do all your other meals look like?

We need more info to better asses your question. I could say yes thats fine but without me knowing it could be a fried chicken breast processed non the less on a bun. That would mean that entire meal has very low protein, tons of carbs, even more fat, and a ton of sugar. Not that great of a meal right?

As for your 9:20 meal...anything will wokr. Food is food. Give us your daily meal plan and we can help ya out a little more.

Dead's right. I'll only eat chichen out if it's not fried, and not ground up chicken parts.

Try giving mom a copy of Chris Aceto's "Everything you need to know about weight loss". That'll explain everything to her.
