Grind it up and add a dash of salt for taste.

Something that you can easily get the stuff in and out of and something that is going to work!

You do not need to add butter - they don't add butter to natty PB!! And these people here manage without adding butter! You just have to work out what is going wrong...

It sounds like the grinder is not making it fine enough - you want it to be almost like a dust. Also - Did you roast them first? If you roast them lightly (in the oven for 10-15 minutes, until golden brown) they will release their oils better when you grind them.

You could add some walnut oil, linseed meal, almond butter etc to make it bind better...

But, if all else fails, you could always order some from them!

Ok thanks Emma .. I did try roatsing them lightly , but I ended up burning them a little
Ok so roast , then grind into like a powder I can do that , it's jsut I didn't understand what to do next I thought that when I grinded them it would jsut come out into a butter ..
So after there all powdery I need to add some oil .. but how would I figure out the nutrition , I tired it with only 1/3 a cup so I could know how many TBSP that made .. ugh hmm maybe I'll take your advice and just order some from them!

you shouldn't have to add any oil, natty pb is just ground up nuts. it uses its own oils.

Try not to burn them - they will turn bitter...

You really should not need to add oil.... But if you do, then just measure this out too -
eg:
3 oz walnuts
1 tbs walnut oil

So then you know how much you make and you can seperate that into appropriate portions.

LOL - This is probably the easiest solution!

I found walnut butter at the Whole Foods Market. Of course, you are in Canada, so it would be probably easier to order it online. I want to try pumpkin seed butter next.

Well, first you separate the seeds and stems. Next, you take all the wee...Oops, wrong butter.

Pumpkin seed butter is great, Whole Foods is the best for lazy people like me. Plus they stuff just about anything into an olive you can find.
