How much cardio in one day is considered 'too much'???... I know that this is a very vague question and that many factors come in to play... just a ballpark figure would be appreciated...thanks for y'all's input....

depends on how many times a week you do it, the intensity level , and why you are doing it.
pre contest we may do 2 hours a day but that burns you out quick as well as leads to overtraining.
i would say 1 hour per day/ 5 days a week at a moderate to light intensity would be the top in general if you are lifting and just trying to trim fat and not burn too much
muscle...i only do 20-30 min 3-5 days per week...that seems to be the best for me when i am not precontest.
you are right though...it is a bad, vague question....so my answer may not pertain to your situation....but i tried.
