I got a free trial serving packet of Neuro Stim and Neuro Stim+C (both made by Scivation) with an order I placed with BulkNutrition.com a couple weeks ago and just tried the Neuro Stim+C (orange pineapple flavored) tonight pre-cardio-workout.

I was pretty skeptical at first because the package claims to increase energy and mental focus. Anyway, I didn't notice anything at first (after waiting about 15 minutes because the packaging suggested waiting 10-20 before the stuff kicked in), but then into my biking workout, I just got more endurance it seems.. I ended up biking for 45 minutes when I usually go about 20-25.

After my shower, I went online to check how much this stuff cost and read reviews.. apparently this stuff is hella-expensive! I think it came down to about $1.65/serving from BulkNutrition.com (with only 20 servings per bottle).

After checking online, I ate a whole egg and 4 egg whites and all of a sudden felt sick to my stomach. I'm not for sure, but I think it was from the Neuro Stim+C. When drinking it I noticed not all of the powder broke down and I've read it isn't uncommon for powdered supplements to lead to gastrointestinal pains. None of the reviews I read mentioned anything like this so this is what I'm wondering...

For those of you who have tried Neuro Stim[+C], have you guys experienced similar stomach pains? And what do you guys think of the product overall? Any of you buy a whole bottle or more and continue to use it (or plan to)? Do you guys think it's worth the cost?

Lastly, just want to add that the Neuro Stim+C I tried (orange pineapple) didn't taste the best... got a strong, kind of sour taste to it, even when adding more water than recommended. I have yet to try the regular Neuro Stim (Lemon Spark flavored).. probably tomorrow.

YES!

Last week for the first time - I had some breakfast which included egg whites and had some neuro-stim to kickstart the day. I dont usually do that but was very tired.

I had terible stomache pains ALL day and had to leave my work early and get others to fill for me. Its lasted about 6 hours.

I tried it pre-workout and didn't really notice any effects, either pro or con.

I know I am shameless with my plugs, but...

If you are looking for increased strength, endurance, pumps, etc. please try Maximum Pump, you will find yourself training longer and harder.

I know my opinion is biased, but this is my personal experience, as well as the feedback I got from my original testers I use, and a few that have purchased it and reported back as well.

Oh, and I have a bunch of Neuro Stim packs (ok, maybe two or three) in my cupboard which I've been apprehensive to use. Don't think I will now.

Hey musclepump.
I have been using it for a couple of months and have only had problems once.
I do get a really good workout when I use it.

b4 I started using it I was skullcrushing 70 and struggled with 80 - maybe managing 8 or 9.
Then I took a good dose or NSTIM and did like 18 reps at 80 - good form. I did 18 cos I was amazed at how well I was doing and wanted to see how long I could keep going.

I skullcrush 90-100 now.

Try it a bit - but the trend seems to be that it doenst mix well with egg whites.

Rob, I plan to try Maximum Pump.. already requested the free samples

. So Maximum Pump is supposed to be a similar supplement as NeuroStim? at least as far as purpose goes, correct?

This is such a blanket statement.. You actually believe that your strength/endurance nearly doubled due to the neurostim?

Amazing, I have a bridge for sale.. it will allow you to pass over traffic wherever you drive. You should buy it.

no problem with that, but it's not a good time to measure it's effectiveness IMO.

The lemon flavor tasted like chemicals and gave me gas the one time I used it (free sample). Otherwise, I didn't notice anything.

Maybe some people are just sensitive to this product. I took a full whole dose and got a stomach ache, followed by vomiting. After that I felt great! :-) No seriously, I was still sick but incredibly alert. For that reason, a month later I tried it again at a quarter dose and got the benefits with just a little queasiness. YMMV

Certainly it might have been something to do with the time of day, what I eaten - the order I had done my routines etc.
