When counting total carbs for the day do I subtract the fiber? For example...
After adding all the carbs up for the day, if I have*150g of carbs and 30g of fiber, does that mean that my body got 120g of carbs or 150g?

Hope tht wasn't confusing.

It depends on how you calculated your carbs to begin with! Some calculations/packages automatically substract fibre from carbs (and therefore leave you only with net carbs) while others include it... You just have to work out which is which.

I had this same question the other day...I know that when I was psychotic about Atkins (thankfully I am over that phase in my life and I no longer have issues with carbs) that fiber was not counted in your net carbs...but, Emma, would you personally count fiber in with your daily carbohydrate total....

Jodi...your guide to cutting has helped me TREMENDOUSLY... I REALLY appreciate it....
