Is it really worth an ectomorph clean bulking?

I don't mean to be a rude so and so or a no it all but because us ecto's hard it hard to gain weight ( pain in the ass that it is) is there any point in clean bulking? I love rice and pasta but in moderation, I could never eat them day in day out after a while I would get fed up of them.
Oh and on the same note, does anyone know the best way to add vegetable stock to rice to give it more flavour as I don't like dumping 3 tbs of ketchup over my meal.

I would eat good bodybuilding food,but I would not be too concerned about eating impeccably clean.
I am an ecto and while I don`t have the same problem gaining weight now that I`m older,I know the frustration involved.
I`d base my workouts around heavy compound exercises and train 4 days per week.......no cardio.
I would limit junk food of course,but still don`t obsess on eating clean like a bodybuilder or you`ll be small forever........you need a surplus of calories and tuna and egg whites will not supply them unless you eat a boatload of both.
Go on a see food diet.............when you see food.........eat it!

I don't really know about the clean bulking. As an ecto too I see your dilema, I always figure I should keep it relatively clean just for the health reasons (especially after reading those 126 reasons why one should avoid sugar).
With the rice just mix the stock in with the water you are cooking, or all stock if you want an ultra strong flavour. Since rice is a 2:1 water ratio i do 1 cup water 1 cup stock to 1 cup rice.

you dont have to eat super clean if you dont mind some added extra effort at a cut.
