Here is how I am doing my body parts now. I only make it three days a week now, so it breaks down as follows

Monday
-Back
-Biceps

Wednesday
-Legs
-Shoulders

Friday
-Chest
-Triceps

Saturday (if available)
-do over on body part I feel I did bad on during the week.

Also 20-30 minutes of cardio at the end of each day.

That is a fine basic program. What are your goals?

i dunno man... i find even working out 5 times a week i feel weaker and dull by the time monday comes around again

Basic goals are to get toned up and lose about 50lbs.

Currently 250lb, 6', 28%BF. I figure work the above program and then alter it as I see my results start to plateau.

Legs + shoulders? No way dude. At least one day just for legs if not two. They are your biggest muscle group.

I do legs twice a week. One of those days I do shoulders also. Works like this.
Squats - 4 sets
Leg press - 3 sets
Calves - 2 long sets 20 - 30 reps
Standing military press - 4 sets HEAVY

I am trying to gain though.

I am trying to gain though.

My leg day is typically like this
Squats 3x10
Leg Press 3x10
Hamstring Curls 3x10
Calf Raises 3x10

then shoulders
Military Press 3x10
Standing Dumbell Flys 3x10
Front Raises Dumbells 3x10

Since I am trying to lose and not gain, two days on legs doesn't seem ideal for me. At least that is my line of thinking.

I just do squats and deads for legs. Making some pretty nice gains too.
