Training issue... intensity, focus, goal, and motivation

Im 23yo and workout 5 days a week. I work part-time as a bartender/barback twice a week at a famous local sports bar (Chickie's and Pete's). When I am behind the bar and its busy, I obviously hustle. My motivation is to make $money$. My goal is to keep my customers happy so that they give me more $money$. This raises my intensity level, gives me focus and increases my energy level to a heart-pounding rate. I literally am running around, sweating my butt off. Im really good behind the bar and love doing it, so that gives me drive.

My question for you guys is this, how do you (and incidentaly, how do I) channel that type of energy, focus, etc... into my workouts? I workout hard and train well, but I realized the other night at work, if I can channel that some how I could really see gains and easily break plateaus. Any thoughts?

You just gotta love it...if you don't really want to be in the gym or are just going through the motion you wont really ever get much done. Those who can truelly put 100% effort into their workouts and diet truelly love this sport.

Do you have any goals or anything? Your motivation at work is to make $$...why not set one in the gym and work harder at it. My current motivation...heal my shoulder to get back into the gym. I am working harder then ever to get back to training normally again.

I actually was thinking about it just now and realize soemthing... I havent had a new goal since I reached my last goal. I started working out a year ago. I weighed 170 at 5'8" but had no muscle tone. Now, a year later almost to the day, Im 193 and have 16.75" arms, a 43" chest and a 33" waist. That was my original goal; to get bigger and stronger. Now i have to set another goal. I want to get even bigger, shredded, and faster. I dont run or play sports much. But thats my new goal; to get faster and stronger than I am now.

Im gonna start right now by looking for an indoor or outdoor soccer league or something active. Anyone from Jersey know of any sports leagues for adults? And im not talking about softball here folks.

New goals are good LOL...

As for sports I know one of the guys at my firehouse plays hocky year round! Other then that I don't know off hand of any names but there are a ton of sports out there. I use to know a few guys that did soccor and lacross but don't know where sorry.

What part of jersey ya in?
