Hot eye

When I am eating something hot, I close my mouth and I can feel the hot air going through some path inside my body and going into my left eye. It is funny but somehow quite disturbing.

I read somewhere that this is due to a problem in the tear ducts?

You are correct oh wise bunny. I can actually blow air out of my left eye! Very strange and yet fun at parties.
