Carbs before bed-

What are the best type of carbs to eat before bed?

Right now I have a casein shake with about 30 grams of carbs in it. Im looking to up my carbs before bed to around 60ish.

Any help is appreciated.

60ish is quite a bit before bed..

unless you are an ecto on a bulk and having trouble gaining weight there's no real reason to ingest carbs before bed

right, the best thing to eat before bed is cottage cheese hands down!. a cup / cup1/2 of it is golden before bed.

I know, but I have been eating 70-90 grams of carbs 6 times day every 2 1/2 hours. My pre-bedtime casein is the lowest carb meal that I have right now. Im not built like an ecto but my metabolism is just crazy when it comes to gaining weight.

For optimal anabolism I would recommend you had something that was going to top up not only your muscle glycogen, but also your liver glycogen (never underestimate the anabolic state this puts you in).

A mixture of milk, oats, CC and walnuts/PB (+/- a little fruit like berries) would be an example of a reasonable pre-bed meal for someone like yourself who has huge troubles with getting your food in.

Because you are bulking than I feel complex, slow burning carbs before bed are fine. Have some cottage cheese, splenda, cinnamon and some fiber one cereal all mixed up. Good and tasty

Normally I dont hate cottage cheese, but that might not be too bad.

A dude I train with has a quote: "After 6 o'clock, you eat it, you keep it". I don't quite folllow this and I generally have a small bowl of Cheerios with a small amount of skim milk (6 Oz roughly). Hits the spot perfectly.
