Seems like a cutting diet, I know, but im not lifting for the next 3 weeks and wont be doing much of anything.

I think you should increase your cals a bit and make it a maintenance diet. The foods and meals look good but not enough cals for you IMO.

what kind of surgery?

3 weeks? That's rough. I almost went insane when I took my scheduled 1 week off.

Well I hope you manage, and good luck with the recuperation.

I had a hernia repaired in my abdomen... I cant really do anthing as is right now.

isnt 2400 cals about maintenance for me right now?? 150lbs 5-10 was bulking on 3000???

Posted by: reg56

I would say 2400 is good because I remember a while back that you were trying to bulk at around 2500-2600. Correct me if I'm wrong.

yep your right.

how did this hernia happen?

Posted by: thajeepster

when i was born... its an umbillical hernia (outtie) got it fixed... The military is paying for it, so i figured I might as well do it for free before i got out this summer.

I agree with Jodi - I think what you are eating looks great, but I would increase your totals a little. I'd probably aim for 2600 cals... Not only are you recovering from surgery, but a 600 cal drop, all in one go, is a little too much for my liking.

You are not going to blow up over 3 weeks - Start with something higher and see what happens. If you are unhappy, then take off a little more.... No harm will be done if you keep it clean.

You might actually find that this is just the break your body needs to kick up your anabolism and get you actually adding some mass, instead of just 'trying' to add mass!

ok, sounds good maybe I do just need a break... 2600 it is, Ill just have a slightly larger breakfast and add some more to meal 5... thanks for the advice guys.
