I came across this recipe and decided to post it because I've never seen tuna mixed with cottage cheese in a main dish before.
INGREDIENTS:

2 cups cottage cheese
1 can (approx. 7 ounces) tuna, flaked and drained
1/2 cup oats, divided
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper or lemon pepper
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup finely chopped celery
2 eggs, beaten
2 tablespoons butter or margarine (I don't really think this is necessary).
PREPARATION:

Combine cottage cheese, tuna, 1/4 cup oats, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, celery, and onion. Blend tuna cheese mixture into the beaten eggs; pour into a greased 1-quart baking dish. Combine remaining oats with 2 tablespoons of butter and sprinkle over top of casserole. Set in a large pan of hot water and bake at 375° for 30 minutes or until firm.
Tuna casserole recipe serves 4.

I also found these:
Tuna-Cottage Cheese Scoops
Ingredients:
5 ounce can tuna, drained
1/2 cup small-curd cottage cheese
1/4 cup chopped dill pickle
1/4 cup diced sweet red onion
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
Celery sticks, pepper strips and/or cucumber rounds

Directions:
Simply mix together the tuna, cottage cheese, dill pickle, red onion and mayonnaise.

Refrigerate until you are ready to eat and then scoop the tuna-cottage cheese salad up with vegetables.

Recipe makes two servings.

Exclusive of the vegetables used for scooping, each serving will have 5 grams of carbohydrates and 1 gram of fiber, for a total of 4 grams of usable carbs and 26 grams of protein.

If someone trys this let us know how it tastes. I hate cottege cheese and if this helps take away the taste that would be good to know.

has anyone tried the tuna and cottage cheese bake yet??

I've been eating it the last month. IMO, I think it kind of tastes like Tuna Helper. It's so easy to make and there is a lot of protein in it

Yummm!

I just made it (the first recipe, minus the Worcestershire and plus some Cayenne pepper, at 390 for 40minutes (i like crispy casseroles)). Very good, I'm on my second helping right now
I also didn't tell my wife what i was making and made her try it. She hates, I mean HATES tuna casserole but couldn't tell there was any tuna in it... great recipe, thanks!

i used green peppers and onions instead of celery. i've also tried it with canned chicken. not too shabby. i wonder how it would turn out with brown rice stuffed in bell peppers...
