Hey, I'm trying to work my abs to get a 6 pack. I've been working at it for 2 weeks now, and I seem to be getting some results, when I flex you can deffenatly see my uper abs (the ones right under my ribs) but you can bearly see my lower abs. I work them every other day, for 30 minutes. I usualy do 20 minutes of crunches and I just started (2 days ago) doing 10 minutes of those pulse-ups, were you lie on the ground with your legs at a 90 degre angle, and lift your hips a few inches off the ground. So my quesiton is, is there anything else I should be doing to get better results. Or just keep at it until I'm satisfied? I don't eat much fatty foods, so I'm ok there. oh, btw, I'm 15 years old, 125 lbs and 5'11..yea I know I'm really skinny..lol. Thanks for any help you guys could give me!

You could also try weighted sit ups or something like that. Bicycle maneuvers and captain's chairs are also excellent for the abs and obliques. Otherwise, if you're thin and you have a good diet you shouldn't have too much trouble reaching your goal. Good luck.

You need to do weighted crunches and cardio.. the lower your bodyfat, the more your abs show.

Don't do every other day... put at least 5 days off between working abs again... no overtraining or you'll slow your progress.

The amount of time off really depends on the intensity though. If you're seeing results with what you're currently doing, don't change it. If your results start to taper, lower the intensity or increase the amount of time off in between workouts.
