got this from another board

thought I couldn't see any more BS about steroid use. I was wrong, the website http://www.taylorhooton.org/. I warn you not to go to this site if misinformation makes you upset as you are likely to blow a gasket. This kid kills himself despite being on anti-depressants and the parents blame it on steroids.

I won't speak badly about the kid as he is dead and I don't believe in pissing on someone's grave so to speak, but he should have educated himself and didn't appear to have any genetics to speak of. I even tried posting a very respectful message with my condolences in the guestbook stating basically that although I am sorry for his death, I highly doubt that steroids were not the reason he took his own life and that they can be used safely. This message was deleted and I was IP banned even though I didn't say a bad word about anyone in the message. I will let you read it for yourself if you have the stomach to. In the meantime, check out this little quote of wisdom in for what you are in store for from the testimonials of former steroid users telling us how bad they are.

QUOTE:
One early evening I took my first shot of Testosterone Suspension, at age 23 and 210lbs lean. The next morning I was about 213lbs, and a lot leaner! How the hell is that possible! My muscles were so much harder, and I looked more cut up! I immediately went to the gym and had a fantastic workout. I felt great! Just in one day. This being, because Test Suspension is water based which gets into the system quickly.

Damn, I want some of that super suspension he was taking! Take one dose at night for the first time, wake up 6-8 hours later 3lbs heavier and a lot leaner. He must have that special ultra mega suspension 10000 stuff that none of us have access to.

From the site...

Quote:
The primary objective of this foundation is to raise awareness among the general population of the United States about the dangers of steroid abuse
I laughed at this. The site doesn't attack steroid abuse--something I'm against, too--it attacks steroids overall.

From one guys story on the site...

Quote:
In April of 2000 I weighed 163lbs was 5’7, yes two inches shorter, and surprises just kept on coming. Now, not only did I have no strength, couldn’t digest food, had pains all over my body, was consumed by depression, had constant thoughts of suicide, and continued to lose weight, but now my skin looked yellow, there were muscle twitches all over my body, and I couldn’t sleep more than 2 hours a night! Oh yeah, my hormone levels were basically non-existent.
Hmm... anyone heard of steroids making you shrink? haha...

The guy you all are talking about shrinking and taking test suspension I know him....he is a really nice guy but got really fucked up from steroid use...his liver was almost totally shot. He didn't mention in that story that while he was feeling "indestructible" on gear he would drink a case of beer or a 5th of liquor almost everyday.

He is a great person that actually does know a lot about the body and how it works. I think he also has a really good grasp on steroids and how they work. What I don't think is that he knew a damn thing about them when he took them.

So for those of you people reading these posts in here take his story as a lesson learned of what can happen to people who take shit without knowing a damn thing about it.

The shrinking part is believable IMO because doing heavy squats for long periods of time can destroy disks in your spine because our bodies are not intended to do the kind of heavy squats we do. So all his muscles could have supported his spine and kept it in place and once he shrunk down to nothing the muscles allowed the bones to settle...now he is shorter. I was a power-lifted when I was young and an MRI has shown 2 disks that are totally flat bone on bone and I had one that is bulging. I honestly feel that is caused from heavy lifting.
