I will traveling and living out of hotels alot. Should I
A. get some adjustable dumbells and a fold up bench??
B. Try an get a workout in those little crappy hotel gyms
C. pay an assload to go to gym's I am not a member of.
these will be alot of small towns and most don't have Gold's and 24hr fittness

Actually every 3 weeks I go out of town as well and I look for nearby YMCA's and get a weekend guest pass. They're just enough to do what I've got to do and be gone. Good luck!

A lot of hotels I've stayed in have offered free shuttles and free workouts at the nearest Bally's.

Hotel gyms (and I use that term loosely) generally consist of a treadmill or two. Other than that, they suck.
If you are going to be in one place for a while, look into a one-week or one-month membership at a local gym.
Is this business travel? If so, will the company pick up the tab or at least part of it?

Here is an option. Contact the local football coach and ask if you could have access to the high school weight room. I let people in ours all the time! Sometimes it is better than the private gyms. We just added $300,000 worth of new weights and equipment. I promise it is better than 90% of all private gyms!!!!

My high school gym didn't have $300k of weights!

We just built a new school and put 100,000 worth of free weights and power platforms, and 200,000 worth of CYBEX machines. Our school only has 600 kids in it.
