On Monday I scraped the area just below my knee playing volleyball. Today there is noticeable oozing (not blood) coming from it, which is getting quite annoying. What can I do to stop it? I've tried band-aids and wrapping it with paper towels, but it still oozes periodically.

just keep it clean and let it ooze...no big deal, normal actually. As long as it doesnt smell or change color you are fine. Usually the clear fluid is what they call serous fluid and is just released when there is trauma...actually a good thing since it helps to wash out bacteria that may cause infection....so...no worries...just kep it clean.

Used to happen to me all the time during football season: Turf burns.
