Do you measure your bicep loose or flexed? What is the standard for any body part.

It depends.. most measure flexed. If your measuring to keep track of progress, make sure you do it the same each time.

The best way is to measure is the same way every time. Measuring cold when you wake up in the morning is the most accurate. Pumped 19 sounds better than cold 17.5, but when you're called on it you don't have 15 min to pump up!

Cold and flexed for the arms. Like said above, as long as it is the SAME every time you know if you are progressing.

You can't just measure your bicep, you have to measure your whole arm.

You CAN just measure your bicep; it just won't be very easy.

It IS possible I guess but very hard, yea lol.

I've been measuring my right upper arm , when getting up first thing in the morning, and getting 16 1/2", 3 hrs later (and no work out) say at 10:00am, it is a 1/4" smaller..... This has happened several times, so I wonder when is the best time to measure?

(Avatar shows left arm, which is always 1/2" behind the right, damn)
