Tightness in left shoulder

I'm not injured or having problems with my shoulders whatsoever. However, whenever i do shoulders or chest, i always experience tightness in my left shoulder and can never get it "loose". It does not hurt or anything and i am still able to complete my sets without any problems but it always feels weird doing DB presses or military presses because by the time i reach failure, my left shoulder has that "dead" feeling and my right shoulder can go for like 3 more reps. I always swing my arms in circles to try and loosen it up but it never works. This isnt the first time it happened as it happens all the time. It really isnt a big issue for me but i was wondering if this is normal or if there are any ways to loosen it up.

By the way, i always do warmup sets before shoulders (1 or 2 sets) and it does not do anything at all. But i will say that my right arm/shoulder has always been my strongest since i am right handed.

sounds like something is locking up on you and it may have to do with weaknesses in your scapula stabalizers (just taking a stab in the dark). the "dead" feeling you were reffering to is what concerns me the most. Do you loose sensation? Any numbness?

Freedom of speech does not exist on private web sites unless the owners and moderators allow it to. Hopefully, you'll be banned by the end of the day.

Have you tried visiting a doctor about it yet? I am sure he/she would be able to tell you more than any of us could. Who knows he/she might even be able to treat the problem for you

how do you figure this is private? i personaly buy whey from this site amongst other sups. I never posted anything, just read the threads, it seems theres a few thread posters on this site that think they run the show and when somebody says something they don't agree with, they run them off with insults and whatever. mwpro, yea right. your pathetic FOAD your a smart guy figure it out. pudding wrestling with dudes is right up your alley. period.

Whoa whoa whoa, u guys are taking this too far. I am fine, seriously. There is nothing wrong with my shoulder. Let me explain this way, say you are doing dumbbell presses and you do a set of 8 reps. By the time u complete the 7th rep, your arm is so fatigued yet u need to complete 1 more rep. As you push to get that last rep up you start to feel the intensity and it "feels like" you're shoulder has given up which is the "dead" feeling i was talking about. It's normal but i am just wondering why i can like complete 2-3 more reps in my right shoulder after that 8th rep for both but my left is just completely fatigued?

Also look at it this way. When i say "tight" i am talking about my muscle being tight. Just like a pitcher warming up to pitch, they will have tightness in their arm and need to loosen it up so it feels more relaxed. That is what i get when i start out with shoulders but i can never get it to loosen up until halfway through my workout. I am probably just overreacting but i should just not worry about it and suck it up.

Although, the scapula stabalizers may be a little stiff but oh well, thanks anyways

it sounds like you are just describing that your left arm is not as strong as your right and when you perform things in a unilateral fashion you over strain to try and get as many reps with the left as the right.
