i almost never count how many sets i do i just keep lifting till i cant lift the bar anymore or till i just feel wiped out

thats a quick way to overtrain. Failure is something that should be used as a tool and not every WO, you don't need to go to failure every time to induce hypertrophy and you Central Nervous System certainly can't take that week in and week out. I would add more structure and logic to your workouts kid, you will reap the benefits
