Hair protection regimen

Hello all, any advice is appreciated. Out of all the hair loss products out there, which ones would be most adviseable to use? Topical would be first choice, if strong enough.

Next, I have seen a few posts below that mention Primo and Dbol as being hard on hair. Is there a comparison chart that may show which steroids affect hair from low to high? Hair is not the only concern of course... High blood pressure, high cholesterol, headaches and nosebleeds are all bad news as well. But it seems most recover right away after the cycle ends. Once hair is gone, it is gone.

Finasteride ( Proscar, 5mg tabs and Propecia, 1mg tabs) is one of the most popular and trusted remedies for hair loss as it shuts down a large percentage (75% roughly-I think!!) of the enzyme that converts testosterone to DHT, the bastard that seems to be the cause of hair loss in males. By doing this it tends to support/save the hair you still have left and can in cases re-grow some recently lost hair (whether this is true or not I dont know). There is another thread round here somewhere with a whole article on why hair drops out, whats best to use to stop it and the best/most effective way to use it etc so thats worth a look. To be honest, there is nothing out there that can guarantee saving hair and definately re-grow it 100%. If you're prone to MPB, you can try and slow it down with various remedies etc, but it will still probably follow its genetic destiny at some point and end up thinning or balding. For those who are fortunate and not prone to this, they can still experience hair loss when taking steroids. Apparently Dbol and Anadrol are indeed tough on this and although finasteride is taken to counteract the high aromatization of the AS introduced it is supposed to be of little use against the two above AS. Definately look up that other thread I mentioned as the writer explains how its not just the DHT that causes hair loss, but inflamation of the folicle caused by our immune systems. You're right with MPB, when its gone, it seems that it will stay gone, however, those who aren't prone to MPB, their hair should return to normal after the steroid cycle is over etc.

nope. but all you pretty much have to know is that any kind of heavy androgen will have the greatest potential for side effects.

Thanks, which ones are mostly androgenic?

Compounds like Dbol, Anadrol, Test, Tren and various DHT derivatives are highly androgenic.

tren, masteron and halo are all heavy androgens. primo is also mainly androgenic since it is DHB (dihydroboldenone) as compared to DHT (dihydrotestosterone).

What would be an anabolic cycle, light on the androgens?

learn about androgens and the sides. a good mass buiding or strength cycle needs to have androgens in them. the key is learning how to use them safely and effectively
