Anyone have any good salad recipes or ideas? I want to make a salad an entire meal with PFC

I like Green leaf salads = Spinach, romaine, etc (I think iceberg is low vitamin)

I usually throw that in w/ some carrots, broccoli, etc

And some sliced fruit, Berries, apples, oranges, pineapple, raisens, dates, etc
~I use enough sweet fruits so that a dash of H20 creates its own juicy dressing~

And don't forget nuts or even beans

Then I eat protein on the side

(I like organic & very fresh, not pre pkgd greens)

(My thinking is = less preparation is better)
IE = cutting, chopping, peeling

I have a juicer and make about 3/4gal of fresh veg/fruit juice 2x week also

Helpful?

What about tomatoes? I love them. Any benefit from those?

Tomatoes are healthy, but have some natural sugar in them... use less tomatoes than things like spinach/broccoli/cucumber/green pepper, but more than other fruits

I say use any fresh, organic, ingredients you like...

If you are not shredding for comp, I can't imagine you could stuff enough veggies to get fat!?!?

Beets are high in sugar.. don't eat too many of those. (they are a vegetable in case you didn't know )
