If you are talking about a carb load then it usually depends on the type of diet you are doing. If you are doing an isocaloric carb cycle type diet then your cals may stay the same but your levels of fats and carbs will alter (protein is constant). so on your higher carb days you do lower fats and on your lower carb days you do higher fats. If you are doing a calorie cycling approach as well then your total calories would increase (to a variable degree - depending, once again, on how exactly you were cycling) and then you would lower fats (carb loads you want low fat). Protein may say constant or may decrease/increase depending on what level it was at for the rest of the time. Usually it stays about the same. |
