Ok i worked out this plan a while ago (this is just a training day) and it came out at over 4000 cals
I re-did it on an excel spread sheet and now it says my cals are 2853
Can someone check for me please, not just a quick glance either....
i wanna know if i have put something in wrong
Thanks

Meal 1
75g'ss Oats........ 1.5/ 45/ 9 = 249.75
2 Whole egg...... 15.6/ 0.4/ 12 = 172
10 Egg white...... 35/ 1/ 0 = 150
15ml Flaxseed oil. 0/ 0/ 15 = 122.7
TOTALS............. 52.1/ 46.4/ 36 = 694.45
Meal 2
60g's Horleys Whey... 46.38/ 3.78/ 4.38 = 241.8
200g's Sweet taters.. 4/ 28/ 0 = 132
TOTALS.................. 50.38/ 31.78/ 4.38 = 373.8
Meal 3
250g's Chicken breast 71.25/ 0/ 12.5 = 392.5
200g's Sweet taters.. 4/ 28/ 0 = 132
TOTALS..................75.25/ 28/ 12.5 = 524.5
Meal 4
20g's Natty PB....... 5/ 1.8/ 9.4 = 114
60g's Horleys Whey 46.38/ 3.78/ 4.38 = 241.8
TOTALS................51.38/ 5.58/ 13.78 = 355.8
Meal 5
100g's Max's CVGM
TOTALS.............. 38/ 59/ 0.2 = 380.7
Meal 6
250g's Chicken breast 71.25/ 0/ 12.5 = 392.5
15ml Olive Oil............ 0/ 0/ 15 = 132.15
TOTALS................... 71.25/ 0/ 27.5 = 524.65

Total of Totals = P/338.36 C/170.76 F/94.36 CALS = 2853.9

Nothing big that I can see... A few small things.... Where are you getting your figures from? Which database?

I use www.nutritiondata.com or www.nutridiary.com both of which would give different values for most of these things.

eg:
Quote:
Meal 1
75g'ss Oats........ 1.5/ 45/ 9 = 249.75
2 Whole egg...... 15.6/ 0.4/ 12 = 172
10 Egg white...... 35/ 1/ 0 = 150
15ml Flaxseed oil. 0/ 0/ 15 = 122.7
TOTALS............. 52.1/ 46.4/ 36 = 694.45
75g oats = 288 cals, 50.25g carbs, 4.7g fat, 12g protein
15ml flax also ~ 135 cals
So my total = 62.6/ 51.65/ 31.7 = 704.75

Quote:
Meal 2
60g's Horleys Whey... 46.38/ 3.78/ 4.38 = 241.8
200g's Sweet taters.. 4/ 28/ 0 = 132
TOTALS.................. 50.38/ 31.78/ 4.38 = 373.8
100g sweet tato is ~86 cals, 20g carbs, 1.6g protein, 0.4g fat therefore 200g = 172 cals, 40g carbs, 3.5g protein, 0.8g fat.
Total = 49.5/ 43.78/ 5.18 = 413.8 cals

Meal 3
250g's Chicken breast 71.25/ 0/ 12.5 = 392.5
200g's Sweet taters.. 4/ 28/ 0 = 132
TOTALS..................75.25/ 28/ 12.5 = 524.5
Same infor for tato = 3.5, 40, 0.8 and 172
Is that chicken breast raw or cooked? If it is cooked then for 100g chicken breast I would get ~378 cals, 7.5g fat and 72.5g protein... not a lot of different...
TOTAL = 76/ 40/ 8 = 550

Quote:
Meal 4
20g's Natty PB....... 5/ 1.8/ 9.4 = 114
60g's Horleys Whey 46.38/ 3.78/ 4.38 = 241.8
TOTALS................51.38/ 5.58/ 13.78 = 355.8
PB I would have slightly different values:
20g - 5, 3.8, 10.5 and 122
TOTAL = 51.38/ 7.58/ 14.88 = 363.8

Quote:
Meal 5
100g's Max's CVGM
TOTALS.............. 38/ 59/ 0.2 = 380.7
I don't know this product - but cals don't add up - closer to 390 if you do the maths...??

[quote]Meal 6
250g's Chicken breast 71.25/ 0/ 12.5 = 392.5
15ml Olive Oil............ 0/ 0/ 15 = 132.15
TOTALS................... 71.25/ 0/ 27.5 = 524.65
Same info stands for the chicken...
250g would be ~378 cals, 7.5g fat and 72.5g protein
Olive oil looks fine.
Total = 72.5/ 0/ 22.5 = 510.15

Quote:
Total of Totals = P/338.36 C/170.76 F/94.36 CALS = 2853.9
So I would have:
p = 370.98
c = 202.01
f = 82.46
cals = 2933.35

So it still does not explain the hugo difference from 4000 cals??

I got that one off the packet and the flax off the bottle

That one was off dietclub site

TOTAL = 76/ 40/ 8 = 550

Cooked levels off dietclub

PB I would have slightly different values:
20g - 5, 3.8, 10.5 and 122
TOTAL = 51.38/ 7.58/ 14.88 = 363.8

Off the packet it's the health food shops own brand

I don't know this product - but cals don't add up - closer to 390 if you do the maths...??

Its got other things in it so maybe thats it?? CVGM

Meal 6
250g's Chicken breast 71.25/ 0/ 12.5 = 392.5
15ml Olive Oil............ 0/ 0/ 15 = 132.15

Yeah not a big difference, so that confirms i dont have to be "too" worried about my amounts.
The only thing that was different in my first equation was i was having 1 cup rolled oats not 75g's, i can't find where i worked it out first time so i don't know where i made the mistake :hmm: 4000 Cals is a big mistake
Thanks so much for your time Emmz I REALLY appreciate it
